Davy Jones Band

Jimmy Riccitelli: keyboards, vocals.  Jimmy was born into a musical family and has been playing piano for over 40 years. The Monkees’ music projects expand and contract, and Jimmy has been in their orbit since 1990. He started with Davy (appearing in the 1992 Six Flags concert video), the 1994-95 Micky Dolenz/Davy Jones tour, and the 1996 Monkees 30th Anniversary tour. He rejoined Davy in 2006, backing him with his powerful tenor and keyboard expertise. Witness an example of the Jimmy’s work ethic in the band here.

Originally from New York, Jimmy now lives in San Francisco and Phoenix, where he moonlights with Nathan Dean and NQH and the KC Blues Band (fronted by teenaged guitar virtuoso Kevin Casenhiser). Additionally, Jimmy has extensive touring experience with Gary U.S. Bonds, Herman’s Hermits, and Stars on 45, and he has appeared on television shows such as Star Search, Regis & Kathy Lee, The Rosie O’Donnell Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Jerry Lewis Telethon, The Sally Jessie Rafael Show, Robin Leach—New York At Night, and the Miss Teen USA Pageant.

Jimmy is also a talented engineer and producer, having owned and operated a commercial recording facility in New York for many years.
